We operate an emergency, short-term, and long-term safe house, rescuing survivors from all parts of the country. We also support refugees who have been trafficked, helping them escape sexual and gender-based violence. Fostering resilience, and empowerment.
This program mentors teenagers and young people, raising awareness on mental health and sexual reproductive health. Through the talks, we create safe spaces for authentic self-expression and discussions on various issues; thus, promoting a supportive community.
We provide formal and informal holistic education to vulnerable groups at the safe house and in communities. Through comprehensive educational initiatives, our goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed for personal advancement.
Rebirth of a Queen supports young people, including survivors of sexual violence, providing technical and soft skills training to make them job-ready. Currently, we run programs such as Leather Workshop, Paper Craft Training, Photography, and Sandals Making.
We acknowledge the role of climate change in gender, as a community we empower girls and young women to be champions of climate justice and create awareness on water, sanitation and hygiene, this program is also fundraising to drill water borehole in Nakuru County, a community that we are working with towards bridging the effect of climate affecting girls and young women.
We value mental wellness, guided by our safeguarding culture, we create spaces that will allow us remain authentic and supported. Through healing circles, we create environments where we can be ourselves. We have also partnered with Mental 360 who trains and equips Rebirth of a Queen to offer Phycological First Aid.
The foundation of Rebirth of a Queen is in safeguarding, we value the feedback from survivors and children, we co create programs together for the best interests of children, we are in a commitment to support the Care Reforms strategy to reintegrate children in communities and support their positive growth. We work with volunteers across the world to support Rebirth of a Queen technically, financially and in skills building. This program accepts volunteers to sign up, and work with us, we host and work together to bring positive impact in the communities.
